CHUG CAPO – Low Latency Professional Pitch Pedal

The CHUG CAPO is exactly what it says it is. A digital bi-directional Capo.
Just like a Capo, the thought process is familiar to any guitarist because it is linear like the fretboard.
Up & down by semitones…. 12 up & 12 down. That simple. The Arrow button to the right raise pitch by semitone and the Arrow button on the left drops the pitch by semitone. The DISPLAY shows the number of semitones in either direction: (-)1 thru (-)12 and (+)1 thru (+)12. The latency offers the fastest performance of any single function pedal like this in the market. Roughly HALF of popular similar single pedals. The voicing has been meticulously programmed so pitch/key changed CHORDS sound the same as an unaltered chord sound. This practical approach allows the user to digitally change keys with minimum compromise on sonic integrity for playing the body of a song. Fast tempo right hand picking and chugging won’t give the feel of your playing dragging behind due to latency like other pedals. This is the key advantage of the CHUG CAPO.
NOTE: For Solos, some digital artifact is unavoidable and audible as in all pitch manipulators, but the tone remains faithful to the source. Additional features include the MIX function which allows blending of any pitch with the dry signal and the FAV function which allows for one favorite preset to be save and accessible by the FAV button or non-latching footswitch. (footswitch not included,1/8” to 1/4” TS cable is included).

CHUG – High Gain Preamp with Gate

The CHUG pedal circuit has been optimally voiced as a “pre-amp”. This means that it is designed to take the place of the High Gain preamplifier circuit channel in a guitar amplifier. The signal starts by passing through a network of High Frequency and Low Frequency filters while offering the ability to add an enormous amount of Gain and overdrive. Equalization options are extensive with Bass, Middle and Treble controls preceding Depth and Presence for true amplifier feel. A keenly programmed noise Gate fed by the input signal and indicated by change in color of the LED is followed by the output that works like a master volume. It is housed in an all metal “built like a tank” enclosure with top quality jacks and switches. Power supply is not included (9VDC 100MA minimum). The sound, flexibility and overall style has been supremely tailored for maximum CHUG!

CHUG Tuner+ Stage Tuner with Boost

Heavy duty construction and a big bright display start off the long list of features and attributes of the CHUG TUNER+. The Tuner itself is a +/-1c accuracy tuner with super-fast response for the live setting and drop tune modes are easily accessed. Tuning can be continuous even when muted or can engage only when muted depending on your preference. From the input stage you get what everyone has been asking for: Gain Boost & Low Frequency tailoring. The Boost/EQ section is foot-switchable with a healthy 20db and the High Pass filter EQ can be bypassed or set to very familiar 720hz & 1k settings mirroring the classic boosts of all time. Moving to the outputs, the buffered signal is split to both outputs with output 2 having the option to bypass the Boost/EQ section and also a ground lift to solve AC noise issues. CHUG Lite – High Gain Distortion Pedal

The primary difference between the CHUG Lite and the original CHUG pedal is that the circuit has been more optimally voiced to use in front of an amp as a traditional distortion pedal, whereas the Original CHUG is voiced as a preamp. Simplicity, gain and serious midrange control is the key to the feature set. Following the GAIN control (with tons of it on tap), the Midrange offers both (FREQ) Frequency selection and (MIDDLE) +/- amount to dial in your perfect midrange crunch or scoop between 160hz and 2.6k. In addition, there are Bass, Treble and output boost controls to set the level to your amp or next pedal. It is housed in a much smaller (but bigger than a ‘mini’) all metal “built like a tank” enclosure that occupies very little real estate on your pedalboard. The sound, flexibility and overall style has been supremely tailored for maximum CHUG!
